SkipHireCalculator.com ('we', 'us', 'this site') is an independent UK guide to skip hire sizing, pricing and rules. We are not a skip hire company and do not process bookings directly.
We don't require any sign-up, account, or personal details to use the calculator or read any guide on this site. We don't collect names, addresses, or payment information. If you email us, we'll have your email address and whatever you send us, used only to respond to you.
This site uses Google AdSense to show adverts, which relies on cookies. In line with UK cookie rules, we don't load AdSense's advertising cookies until you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit — if you reject or ignore it, no advertising cookies are set, though you also won't see ads that help fund the site. You can change your choice at any time using the 'Cookie settings' link in the footer. Google and its advertising partners may use these cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites once accepted. The homepage displays a running count of calculator uses via a free third-party counting service (Tally API). This service does not set cookies on your device or collect personal or identifying information — it simply records an anonymous count server-side, which is why it isn't gated behind the cookie consent banner above.
The 'Search for local skip hire' buttons on this site currently link to a general search for local skip hire suppliers — they are not yet tracked affiliate or commission links, and we don't earn anything from them at present. We plan to add a genuine affiliate partnership in future, at which point this page and the button wording will be updated to say so clearly and accurately. See our About page for more detail.
We use Google Search Console, which doesn't use cookies, and Google Analytics, which does. Like the advertising cookies above, Google Analytics only loads if you accept the cookie banner — if you reject it, no analytics cookies are set and your visit isn't tracked by Google Analytics. This site links to external skip hire suppliers and comparison services. We aren't responsible for the privacy practices or content of external sites once you leave ours.
